🎀 🧢🧦 Bows, hats, and socks are cute—but for movement, we need to see what your baby’s body is telling us.

➡️ Less layers = more clues.

👶🏼 When babies are a little “hidden,” we can miss signs of tension, tightness, or asymmetry, ESPECIALLY THE NECK AREA.

✅ So for exercises, think simple: diaper or short sleeve onesie + freedom to move 💛🧡

🥂 Mommies & Mimosas 2.0: The Other Side of the Labial Tie

🫢I spend everyday talking about babies’ oral ties…
so this time we flipped the conversation to the other side.

👭 Last month, Dr. Linda and I hosted this wild event celebrating moms, sipping mimosas, and having honest conversations about what happens to the va**na after babies.

🤩Thank you, Dr. Linda for bringing your pelvic health expertise to the table. Because moms deserve care too — not just the babies.

Since this was a this ticketed event, I want to send a very warm thank you to Elsy for sponsoring several mamas. Your thoughtfulness and willingness to offer this without even knowing me, is beyond kind. 🩷

And to my sister in law for doing all the decor. 🥰Because if it were left to me, there would have only been Hello Kitty plates, at best. Hahaha

‼️ Parents are constantly being told, “close your baby’s mouth!” But, you need a proper assessment by a clinician, pediatric dentist, or a licensed provider who specializes in tongue ties or airway and you need to be taught how to do it correctly.

➡️ I discuss this in further detail during my provider trainings, however, I need this information out there for all the parents trying to help close their babies’ mouths.

🔔 There are many other components you need to learn, understand, and assess. This is only the surface.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒 If you are a parent, please ask questions and get help.

👩‍⚕️ If you are a provider, please get proper training and don’t just give parents random things to do that you found on YouTube.

During my infant tongue-tie trainings, I teach providers how to utilize the visual system as a component of oral therapy.

Yes, you heard that right. The eyes can help the tongue!

Oral therapy is not just about sticking your finger in every baby’s mouth.

Interested in learning beyond the ties? Check out my in-person provider trainings on my website for more information.

🤩 All silliness aside, babies need a team with protocols in place.

➡️ My most successful cases are the ones with a team, comprehensive care, and a plan. Yes, some babies may take longer to improve, but that’s also why parents need us. Emotional support goes a long way.

➡️ After years in this field, I’ve watched countless “new methods” for tongue-tie treatment appear.

✅ But here’s the honest truth: there isn’t a magic technique.

⭐️ Successful outcomes come from mastering the fundamentals — accurate evaluation, appropriate treatment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and allowing time for functional change.

👉 The fundamentals aren’t trendy. But they’re what actually work.

👩🏻‍🏫 That’s the foundation of my training.

🔔 Are you ready? Let’s go to Lake Tahoe on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. DM me for inquiries and to register.

🔔 If you’re a provider working with newborn babies that have been diagnosed with tongue tie or suspected of tongue tie, this in-person training is for you.

⭐️ What you’ll learn:

• How to prepare for and execute a comprehensive evaluation
• Translate clinical observations into functional interventions
• Understand your scope of practice and when to refer out
• Collaboration for frenectomy readiness
• Identify dysfunction and compensation beyond a tongue tie
• Troubleshoot complex cases

And so much more! 🤩

➡️ Join me on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada at Caesar’s Republic Hotel.

👅 Assessing tongue-tied babies is more than spotting a frenulum and giving parents random oral exercises or just telling them to do “suck training.”

👶 It’s understanding the whole system.

‼️ I’ve had too many babies come through my office with weeks or months of dysfunction and they tell me, “We were told by so and so to just let the baby suck on our finger or do tummy time more or that the tie looks mild.” When in fact, these ties were significantly impairing function, suck training was not progressing, and tummy time was leading to distress.

➡️ Not every case is cut and dry. That’s why I build teams for babies. I don’t try to solve every issue on my own, especially if it’s out of my scope of practice.

⭐️ Refine your clinical eye so every baby gets the right care — or the right referral.

Excited for my next in-person provider training for assessing, treating, and troubleshooting infant ties.

Some questions providers ask me before taking my course include:

🙋🏻‍♀️ How do I know when to refer a baby out to OT, LC, bodywork, or the dentist?

🙋‍♀️ When is a baby ready for a frenectomy?

🙋🏾‍♀️ What am I missing in my care for babies?

🙋🏽‍♀️ How can you tell if compensation is bad?

🙋🏿‍♀️ What if the baby is still not doing well after a frenectomy?

🙋‍♀️ What if there’s a contradiction between what I tell my clients versus what their pediatrician tells them?

All these questions and more are only a glimpse of what I cover. The training is intended to be collaborative, interactive, fun, and yes, playful. I “lecture” but I also strive to create a stress free environment for all participants.

The groups are intentionally small in order to facilitate in-depth learning and deeper conversations beyond the tongue-tie.

March registration is closed. Stay tuned for announcements for my April training.
