While there, he held the positions of Associate Professor, Director of the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery, Director of the Fellowship for Advanced Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and Director of the Wound Healing Laboratory. While at Stanford, he also mentored undergraduates, medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Koch was voted "Teacher of the Year," given the "Resident Advocate Award" by Stanford residents, and was the recipient of several grants and other awards. He has authored two books, including the recently published medical textbook, “Non-Invasive Cosmetic Procedures,” 15 book chapters, and more than 80 peer-reviewed journal articles. He has also given 205 national and international lectures. In addition, Dr. Koch's expertise crosses specialty lines as he frequently gives the keynote address at Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, and Facial Plastic Surgery meetings. Dr. Koch is a renowned expert in minimally invasive procedures such as in-office facelift, eyelift, and laser procedures. He has trained the most physicians in the in-office facelift in the country.
