Responsibilities:

Conduct audiometric and speech/language tests to assess patients' hearing capabilities and identify impairments.

Interpret diagnostic data to create personalized treatment plans, addressing each patient's unique needs and goals.

Offer compassionate care by fitting hearing aids, demonstrating their use, and assisting patients in adjusting to hearing implants.

Keep detailed records of patient information, treatment plans, and progress using CounselEar software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Work closely with physicians, ENT specialists, speech/language therapists, and pediatricians to provide holistic care for patients undergoing auditory rehabilitation.

Organize and execute hearing protection and hearing loss screening programs within the community to promote awareness and early intervention.

Review audiology services regularly to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary improvements.

Requirements:

Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.

State licensure in Audiology (NY licensure preferred).
