GDP “We Help Our Patients Achieve A Better Quality Of Life Today… And Tomorrow.” Now the old man had something very special for Ken to sample.

From humble headquarters in Northern California, Executive Director, Patient Advocate and Multiple Award-Winning breeder/grower, Ken Estes and The GrandDaddy Purp Collective has been helping patients cope with their health challenges through their undying commitment to bring the highest quality medicinal products to patients in need. Originally located in Oakland, then later relocated to Richmond, CA Ken and his team have overcome many challenges without ever losing sight of the goal: To alleviate pain and suffering by breeding, growing and sharing superior strains with patients that can find relief and comfort from their many years of hard work and development. The Collective's signature strain, the multiple-award winning “Grand Daddy Purp” has earned a reputation across the Golden State, and around the world, as one of the most medicinal strains ever experienced, bringing much needed relief and well-being to patients. There was a full moon that night in the mountains of Northern California, when once again Ken Estes made his sojourn up through the heavily wooded trail on his relentless quest for the most unique, exotic, potent, and pungent strains of marijuana available. He was very familiar with the surrounds as he had unsuccessfully traveled this way many times before, but that was then and this is now. Tonight might just be the night; yes this could be that special time when Ken’s discerning tastes coupled with his absolute refusal to settle for second best… will finally be realized. After a time Ken came to a clearing and a triple fork in the trail, there he was joined by his good friend Tommy “B” from the Pomo Indian Tribe. Ken was always welcome around the reservation and Tommy reveled how Ken earned his tribal name “Circles” by providing help and his assistance anytime it was needed… always. Ken however, is pretty sure this new name also had something to do with his wheel chair. Somewhere along long the way Tommy explaind how he had recently met up with an old Indian wise man that Ken’s kindness, had helped through a very hard time. Tommy further explained that since they had come this far, and waited this long to find that superior strain they should be willing to go a bit further. Ken agreed and soon they found them selves sitting in front of a turkey bag full of what appeared to be this almost black cannabis, a darker strain than either of them had ever seen before. The old man explained how it was the “Grand Father” strain of them all!! The smell was truly amazing, so pungent and spicy. It was the strangest cannabis plant they have ever seen, with magnificent looking, fluffy, largely hairless buds. The color was a deep purple almost black, except for the occasional rich green spots. It was very crystallized like rock candy very exotic and highly erotic … to say the least. So it was Ken who introduced the very first turkey bags of his “Grand Daddy Purp” strain to the bay area and it’s collectives. Ken’s Indica is a perfect medicinal pain reliever; very effective for headaches and more severe medical patients. Instead of feeling numb like other heavy Indicas, it simply just makes things stop hurting. It’s perfect for anytime of day because while it does make you extremely relaxed it leaves you very alert. Today Ken has managed to cross his original proprietary strain back to itself as well as other current strains, especially Kushes, and his original strains of “Grand Daddy Purp” medaled at the first annual High Times Cannabis Cup in San Francisco.
