Anicia A Williams, LMFT

Anicia A Williams, LMFT recent updates in mental health. mindfulness practices and coping strategies. Unfortunately, no actual change comes from just thinking.

I am a licensed psychotherapist serving CA & WA states, specializing in multicultural issues, addictions and the relationships that suffer as a result. I use an integration of modalities to help those struggling or wanting to prevent struggling with the abundance of stimulation and opportunities for distraction in their lives. We spend much of our time and energy thinking about the things we wish to change in our lives. In our sessions, we will collaboratively identify the underlying issues hindering your emotional progress, create a plan to make positive changes and take action on that plan. I will help you take those first small steps that lead to change, and you can begin to work towards your goals. Let me help release you from the unproductive and anxiety provoking thinking stage and move you into action.

falling apart

🧚🏾‍♀️remember you are resilient💪🏽. being strong does not🙅🏾‍♀️ mean bearing the burden alone. having the courage to seek validation, comfort and support will take you farther than trying to prove your independence.
for anyone who feels like they’re suffering alone, seek support through therapy. if that’s too big of a step, start journaling and get to know yourself and your needs. you were never asking for too much.... you were just asking the wrong folks. 🌬🍃🦋

holidays can be a magical time for family and friends to come together. they can also be really hard, lonely, grief stricken reminders of who and what we don’t have.

My Story

I am a psychotherapist in Marin County, specializing in multicultural issues, mental health, trauma, addictions and the relationships that suffer as a result. I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was nine after I “counseled” my neighbor who wanted to run away from home.

My goal is to help anyone willing, to love and honor the person they are today, recognize their story’s ending is one that they get to choose. I am not my trauma, and neither are you! I have experienced trauma, loss and heartbreak. But I am so much more and so are you.

Get in touch with me for a free 15 minute consultation and see if e are a good fit!
