Boundaries, dreams & my Tao practice 🐉
Lately Life has been giving me lots of “boundary lessons” –
Where am I responsible, and where is it actually the other person’s stuff?
My mind understands it… but old habits still sneak in. 😉
In TaoTouch Chi Nei Tsang we say that while we sleep,
our body digests the emotions we couldn’t process during the day.
In the Five Elements, Metal is the power to feel emotions –
through the lungs, large intestine and our skin/boundaries.
The other night I dreamed of a tiny toilet at the very back of an old wooden house.
On the floor, right at the entrance, was a puddle of bright neon yellow-green water –
beautiful, but clearly a chemical cleaning liquid.
When I woke up it clicked:
this was my “over-responsibility cleaner” –
the part of me that always thinks,
“If I try harder, if I change more, everything will be fine.”
In the dream I picked up a piece of linen,
gently soaked up the neon water and squeezed it out into the toilet:
“Thank you for trying to protect me.
You’ve worked hard. I’m OK now.”
It felt like my Tao-self was helping me graduate
from the old pattern of “everything is my fault”.
These days I feel my day-self learning boundaries in real life,
and my night-self quietly integrating it all through dreams.
Such a beautiful team project. 🌙✨
I support this kind of deep, gentle digestion of emotions
through my coaching and TaoTouch/CNT sessions.
If you feel called to explore your own boundaries & dreams,
my DMs are open. 🌿
