We need your voice & your story.

Commercial health plans are reinterpreting state law in ways that could limit coverage for home care nursing. If this continues, it could mean:
โ€ข Fewer nursing hours at home
โ€ข Longer hospital stays
โ€ข Waiver dollars redirected away from therapies and essential supports

For 15 years, this law has protected families. Weโ€™re asking lawmakers to reaffirm and enforce that protection.
Join us at the Capitol on Thursday, March 12, starting at 11:00 a.m.
โœ” Press conference
โœ” Meetings with legislators (weโ€™ll help schedule them)
โœ” A chance to protect care for your child and others

If you can attend or want to stay involved, complete the form below.

Mark your calendars for March 5th is this is important to you.

Call your congress members this Thursday, March 5 and ask them to protect special education and opportunities for students with disabilities. PACER Center is joining other disability advocacy groups across the country in a National Call-In Day to urge lawmakers to keep special education at the U.S. Department of Education. You can help by calling your U.S. senators and representatives and asking them to urge the U.S. Department of Education not to move special education programs such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) out of the Education Department. Use the links below or call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121.
