She was born missing two lower premolars. To create symmetry and address significant upper crowding, Dr. Peterson strategically removed two upper premolars. This allowed her canines to erupt properly and helped us achieve an ideal Class I bite.

This kid first came to see us when he was 9 years old for an evaluation. 👏🏼

He had multiple things going on:
- Anterior crossbite
- Premature loss of multiple teeth
- Space loss
- Class III bite
- Maxillary and mandibular crowding

Through a Phase I of upper braces, and a space maintainer we were able to regain a lot of lost space to allow all the permanent teeth to come in properly!

He then came back a few years later for his Phase II of treatment. We still needed to lock in the bite, work on final alignment of the upper and lower teeth, and achieve all the characteristics of a Peterson Smile.

We utilized the following to create his new smile:
- Pitts21 Pro Brackets
- Broad Arch-wires
- Elastics
- Enamel contouring

What a good looking smile! 😁

This beautiful young lady came to our office rating her smile a 5/10! We had to fix that number!

She presented with the following:
- Narrow maxilla
- Severe crowding
- Class II bite
- Open bite tendency
- High ectopic canines

We utilized the following methods to create her amazing new smile:
- RPE (Rapid Palatal Expander)
- Pitts 21 Pro Brackets
- Broad Arch wires
- Elastics
- IPR
- Enamel contouring

She ended with all the characteristics of a beautiful Peterson Smile:
- Good incisor display
- Proper inclination of the teeth
- Curvature of the smile following the curvature of the lower lip

Buckle up for this one!🤭 This smile transformation shows the power of interdisciplinary care. (Multiple dental specialists)

This patient was referred to us by her dentist, Dr. Darren Brower from due to a jaw and bite discrepancy.

She presented with the following issues:
🔵Class III mandibular prognathism (strong lower jaw) and maxillary retrognathism (set back upper jaw)
🔵Underbite (anterior crossbite)
🔵Misaligned anterior teeth
🔵Narrow arches and posterior crossbite
🔵Missing lower incisor

Due to the severity of her bite discrepancy (even with a missing tooth on the bottom) - Dr. Peterson determined that utilizing a maxillofacial oral surgeon would be most beneficial to get the results that she was looking for.

Before surgery we utilized
⚪️Pitts 21 Pro self ligating braces
⚪️Elastics
⚪️SAP bracket positioning

When she was prepped for surgery she went to see Dr. Bradley Porter at where they performed a 2 jaw surgery to position the jaws into the proper position.

Post-surgery we finished her orthodontic treatment by fine tuning the bite with elastics and detailing her wire.

She finished with all the characteristics of a beautiful Peterson Smile, an ideal bite, and a much improved facial profile. We couldn’t be more excited for her and her transformation! 🤩🤩
