Test yourself and participate in the Mini Murph Challenge on Wednesday, May 27th from 6pm to 8pm at the Window Rock Tribal Park & Veterans Memorial Park.
This annual Memorial Day workout is held in honor of the late Lt. Michael Murphy and those lost in the line of service. See you there!

Join us for the Mini Murph Challenge on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Window Rock Tribal Park & Veterans Memorial located in Window Rock, AZ. The Mini Murph Challenge is completed to honor Lt. Michael Murphy, those who sacrificed their lives in the line of service, and those who continue to serve their country. The challenge consists of:
• 0.5 mile run
• 50 pull-ups or inverted rows
• 100 push-ups
• 150 bodyweight squats
• 0.5 mile run
This event is free and open to individuals 18 years of age or older. Participants will have the option to modify or create a rep system for each workout accordingly. Participants will be allowed to complete the challenge wearing a weighted vest, but weighed vest will not be provided. On-site registration for this event will open from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with the event beginning at 6:00pm. We hope to see you there!

JMI kicks off next Tuesday! This first JMI is for our elders and community members with disabilities.

This first event will be at the Window Rock High School Football Stadium next Tuesday, May 5th at 10am.

Who is excited for JMI 2026? We are! Prepare for the JMI season and get into the habit of drinking plenty of water throughout the day and start moving. Aim for 30-minutes of physical activity each day. You can break it up into 15 minutes of walking in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon. You got this!
