If you have been effected by the North Idaho wildfire evacuations I am so sorry for what you are going through. If you are a woman breastfeeding or having difficulty feeding your newborn and you would like some support during this difficult time, I am offering free lactation care. I also have an abundant supply of diapers, breast pads and milk storage bags. If you need this kind of supply, I will bring them to you.

Easy, free breastfeeding tips you can start today!

Tip #10 - Stop blaming yourself. I'll say it again. Stop blaming yourself! The goal of these tips were to give moms ideas for things that make breastfeeding a more enjoyable experience. This might be the most important tip. If breastfeeding is not enjoyable or if you are still grieving a past breastfeeding experience that did not go as you wanted, this tip is important for you. Breastfeeding takes a mom and a baby and sometimes things happen to one of those people that are beyond our control. Often where breastfeeding gets difficult has to do with the baby and moms don't ask for these things nor do they have full control. We can learn a lot from the moms around us and what helped them to successful with feeding, but don't forget that they are not you and your baby. No one is you and your baby!

Tip #9 - Side lying nursing. Learning how to nurse while lying on your side is a game changer for the weary mom. It is very comfortable for mom and baby especially for those night time feedings. The more positions you're comfortable nursing your baby in, the easier it is to nurse your baby on demand.
