Idaho Update✨

Last spring we took a big leap of faith and moved from the Midwest to North Idaho to live life closer to all the nature and hobbies we love.

We adventured around in the backcountry, spent much time debating off-grid properties, hiked many peaks, swam in many cold waters, caught 2 whole trout😂, kayaked, camped, bought an RV and took our cats on several longer camping adventures, spent a week in Montana and Glacier Nat’l Park with family..

It was a beautiful, soul-filled year

It took us what felt like 4 years but was really 4 months to find our piece of land, backing up to National Forest and the peace we’ve dreamed of.

Our goal is to raise and grow more of our own food in a simple but fulfilling way, live more in touch with the land and be able to give a different life to our kids.

Speaking of…😏 don’t miss the last pic🎉

Your child’s health status is NOT a reflection of who you are as a person.

We get asked all of the time:

“I had a homebirth with no interventions for me or pokes for baby, ate super clean throughout and only use non-toxic products in the home.
So how did they end up with eczema?”

It’s not a straightforward answer -

The reality is that even when the perfect external conditions are set up, birthed in a low stress environment with no medication, mom ate 100% organic whole foods diet, non-toxic lifestyle and baby has had no outside interventions...
.. there are still many factors internally related to gut health that can still be at play, driving the symptoms of eczema.
Unfortunately, none of those beautiful things you chose could have prevented the eczema from occurring.

The point is that you made all of those choices about your pregnancy and delivery from a place of pure love and wanting to set up the healthiest life for your child.

And it is NOT a reflection of any sort of failure on your part.
You did the absolute best with the knowledge you had.

AND

It’s still not a reflection of who you are as a parent if you don’t know how to fix their eczema now.

Eczema is complex and healing from within is something that practitioners train in for years to be able to do this work.

If you’re ready to finally release the guilt, and let us help you eliminate their eczema for good

Comment “Eliminate” and we’ll have a conversation about what the missing pieces likely are for your child.

From the outside, eczema seems like it's the main issue.... right?

The rashes, itching, sleep problems, bleeding, food issues?

Actually, no 😯

Eczema is a SYMPTOM of the real problem.

Eczema (like many other formally diagnosed issues in medicine) is the name for a set of symptoms. There is no test to diagnose it. It's based on a doctor's observations and assessment.

It's not a true autoimmune disease.
It's also not truly genetic.

So what is it?

Eczema is the symptomatic result of internal imbalances.

The problem presents itself most obviously outwards on the skin. But the skin is just the default detox organ for INTERNAL issues at play.

So what does that mean?

Treating it outwardly (with topicals) will never actually heal the real problem.

📢 Let me say that again📢

Treating an internal issue, with an outward solution will never ever bring full healing. Because the problem isn't on the skin. The problem is in the gut (and more specifically the immune system within the gut).

3 BIGGEST NUTRIENT DEFICIENCIES IN ECZEMA

These are common across the board in chronic immune conditions, but especially in eczema kiddos.

Will this cure them entirely?
Likely not (unless it's their #1 root cause- which isn't the most common).

If you're nursing, take a look at the foods and make sure you're getting these in your diet routinely. You can also supplement the products noted. All products are in my Fullscript bio link.

If your kiddo is old enough to eat solids, try to incorporate these as much as possible. You'd be surprised how much they love mashed sardines!

Sometimes food isn't enough when a true deficiency is present. Supplements can help us get there so much faster.

Did incorporating any of these help your little one? Let me know!

Although what we see outwardly on the skin are itchy rashes and redness (“eczema”), this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Have you ever seen the video where they miraculously catch a rare sighting of an iceberg tipping over.. and the MASSIVE ice underwater shows how much is really underneath?!

It’s at least 5x as big as what’s visible on top🗻

The same thing is true for eczema.

What we see is just how the body is presenting on the outside.

Internally there is a massive struggle.

What’s really happening underneath (inside the body):

🧊Leaky gut
🧊Vitamin deficiencies
🧊Stress
🧊Histamine overload
🧊Hidden sensitivities
🧊Detox Issues
🧊Overgrowths
🧊Food Allergies

Beneath the itchy red bumps and bleeding…

is out of control inflammation and an immune system on fire.

Traditional medicine wants to just suppress the immune system with medication without ever considering what’s going on beneath the iceberg.

Don’t settle for less than full root cause healing.

We KNOW the root causes😊

It may be complex for parents to navigate alone, but this is why having a holistic practitioner in your court can be life changing.

Don’t struggle any longer alone.

Send me a message if you need help determining your child’s root cause🧡

This one seems like such a staple in the American diet, how could it really be that bad?🧐

But it is.. according to the research, dairy is the #1 reactive food in eczema.

There’s a few different things happening here:

💥 Food intolerance
💥 Immune reaction

When the body can’t tolerate a food, it means it does not have the capacity to break down the food (usually a lack of enzymes to digest properly).

When it’s the immune system reacting to food, it is a system wide inflammatory response.

And it can be both.

BUT remember.. food isn’t the real problem.

It matters, and temporarily removing these foods causing inflammation is a critical step.

But food reactions are a SYMPTOM of the real problem:

Immune dysregulation.

Once we dive in and unload the burden on the immune system (usually in the gut!), it can chill out. And food issues become less and less - maybe even non-existent.

Have you found this to be true in your kiddo? Did removing dairy help- a little or a lot?

Let me know below!
I love to see if research matches what parents are finding to be true.

Skin rashes are only the tip of the iceberg of what is happening in the body when eczema appears…

Let me fill you in on a truth that will change the way you view the entire process of your approach:

The skin rash is a SYMPTOM of what’s really going on.

The immune system is overloaded. The detox organs are overloaded. There’s a threat the body can’t handle.

So it comes out in the skin.

Unfortunately, when you go to the doc’s office you’ll only be offered steroids or something to suppress the immune system.

But what if we figured out what that threat actually was..

And eliminated it.

The immune system can back down.

The skin doesn’t have to be a detox organ anymore.

That’s my job. I’m the detective finding out what that threat is.

And it’s usually just a few key things.

Send me a DM if you want to learn more! I’ve got a free short video that explains this in depth more.

I’d love to help your child heal.
