Natural Medicine Office Assistant – Part Time (Sandpoint)

Naturopathic physician and acupuncturist seeking self-motivated team member for part time office assistant position in holistic healthcare practice. Must be detail-oriented, friendly, personable, professional, a creative problem solver, and interested in natural health. Must be computer savvy, have experience providing excellent customer service, and have QuickBooks bookkeeping experience. Duties include creating a welcoming office environment including patient reception and answering phones, as well as scheduling office visits, receiving payments, managing inventory and supplies, and providing general office support surrounding patient care. The best applicants will have a growth mindset and a flexible schedule with availability approximately 20-25 hours per week, including three in-office days and a small amount of remote work on out-of-office days. Pay range is $15 to $20 depending on experience. Pay rate will increase with ability to help the practice run smoothly and thrive. Here is a letter from the local health district with some recommendations on how to handle the poor air quality. In short, limit time outdoors and stay home if you can, run car and home fans on recirculate, keep windows closed and be sure to run a portable air filter or your home air filtration system.

If you don’t have an air filter, a DIY version made with a box fan and 20x20x1 air filter taped to the back will help improve your indoor air quality. Monitor the air quality with apps like AirVisual. Our local air quality is predicted to be hazardous tomorrow. Stay safe and call your doctor or 911 if you are having significant trouble breathing.
