So most of my posts are about traveling and teaching classes. But what do I do when I'm at home?
I've been doing massage since 2002. I'm still doing massage, now I'm working out of my home. I'm Loving It!!
I'm feeling compelled to talk about some of the experiences I've had with the essential oils and doing the Raindrop Technique in my practice.
The Raindrop Technique is a protocol using Essential Oils. I use essential oils on the clients feet and along the spine on their back. The oils work at the cellular level, my clients are very relaxed when they receive a Raindrop. It is a very non-invasive session. I use several oils, some that cleanse the receptor sites, some that are relaxing to the muscles, one that is analgesic and has the properties of apserin and a few other oils with various properties.
Now if anyone is thinking why essential oils? My answer is the oils come from the plants, they are the life blood of that plant. Who gave us the plants? God gave us the plants! He gave us the plants to use for our survival. Whether we use the plants, or the fruits from the trees to nourish our bodies or use them for medicinal reasons they are here for US!
I don't want this to get to long and drawn out so I want to share a couple of stories of how the oils have helped past clients.
I had a client who was a paraplegic. The first two times I worked on him holding on to his feet was like holding onto two ice blocks. No circulation in the lower extremities. His wife was using oils on his legs/feet in between our Raindrop sessions. The third time he came in his feet were warm!! It brought tears to my eyes as the only thing that changed in his life was the Essential Oils. During that session he also felt the drop of oil at his sacrum, his words, I felt a sensation. That day felt so darn good! I knew at this time I picked the right career for me. How Rewarding it felt and still does to this day.
One more story about Raindrop and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Client Jane Doe came in for Raindrop to see if it would help manage her pain. After the first session she said it helped with the pain for a couple of days. After the next session she said it helped for about 10 days. She was happy to be pain free for a couple of days but 10 days!! So you can see the diverse affects these oils can have.
NOTE: I'm not mentioning any names so I'm not violating client/therapist confidentiality.
One last thing......all essential oils are not created equally. Please, please do your research, ask questions and don't go to Walmart to purchase your oils.
