We as health care providers place ourselves last in each equation and that has caused burn out in record numbers. The pandemic highlighted this brutal fact. We are humans first, providers second. We also pledge to redefine the relationship of healthcare, starting with us as providers. As providers, the change needs to be driven by us walking along side patients as the agent of change.
