Such a sad day at Erie Shores Surgery Center yesterday. Normal day starting out only to have the wind completely kicked out of each and every employee. Our anesthesia person was late coming in and we called him as we have in the past, but no answer. As time passed we learned of a one car accident on I90. We all held our breath hoping that it wasn’t him! Within a couple hours we got the devestating news. Kris got a new car excited to drive it to work, but something happened that no one will ever know and he hit a concrete light post and didn’t make it. We were all crushed when we got the confirmation it was him. Kris has been a part of our surgery center family for years. He was a comedian and the nicest guy with the most compassion for his patients. He leaves behind a wife and three little children! Fly high Kris the Center will never be the same without you. You will forever be missed! Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for them!
