These two cuties stopped by Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital for a visit and absolutely stole our hearts. At just 14 weeks old and 6.3 lbs, they’re already pros at posing for the camera! 🐶🐶

This week we’re spotlighting the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje (koy-ker-hond-yuh), a cheerful and intelligent sporting breed from the Netherlands with a fascinating history!

Originally bred as duck decoy dogs, Kooikerhondjes used their fluffy white tails to lure ducks into traps — a job they performed with skill and enthusiasm. Today, they’re known for being loving companions with a playful spirit.
