- The Edwin Barbey Patient Care Pavilion under construction at Cape Cod Hospital was designed with sustainability in mind. Located just 500 feet from where the harbor connects to Lewis Bay, this four-story tower is designed to withstand sea-level rise, Category 4 hurricane storm surges and wind-borne debris. SmithGroup, who designed the Cape Cod Hospital project, included measures that ensure the site is elevated and protected from the impact of flooding.

This innovative project will redefine cancer and clinical care for our community, as the new patient tower will offer radiation and medical oncology on the first two floors, dedicated space for cardiac care and recovery from interventional and surgical procedures and expanded capacity for critical care.

The Power of Pink! 🎀

We’re thrilled to announce that proceeds from the Pink Pumpkin October fundraiser at the Sandwich Glass Museum has raised more than $14,000.

Last week, representatives from the museum presented a check to the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation to support The Cape Cod Women’s Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Fund (WED) at Cape Cod Healthcare. The fund helps patients cover the costs of diagnostic testing not covered by health insurance.
