We are borrowing this image to talk about how we really feel about Nurses Week. This Nurse is just sitting down to eat after working 53 hours in the span of a few days. Oh, she also just helped a young mother deliver a stillborn baby.
Being a Nurse is one of the most rewarding and admirable jobs that there is. It is also sometimes a thankless grueling job that takes it toll on even the toughest amongst us.
We shouldn't need a week to celebrate Nurses. We should do it every day.
Support them, listen to them, love them.....
