Position Open for Clerk/Tech

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our pharmacy team as a clerk/technician. You will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing excellent customer service to patients, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate should be friendly and helpful to our customers, be able to work well with others and be willing to learn.

Some of the responsibilities include assisting the pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, maintaining inventory and stocking medication shelves, answering phone and taking messages when necessary, operating the cash register, performing data entry, and other tasks as needed throughout the store.

�Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus).
Attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
Previous pharmacy or health-care experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding laws concerning patient confidentiality.

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience. There will be a 90 day trial period to ensure a good working relationship.

Elliott County is classified as very high risk for unvaccinated people. Because of high spread of the Delta variant, the CDC recommends that even vaccinated people wear masks.
