Our Story

VISION Youth and Family Christian Counseling, a faith-based counseling practice, was established to dispel the lie and stigma surrounding counseling for Christians. Years ago it was believed that you only went to counseling if you were crazy. That is a blatant lie of manipulation to keep God’s people suffering in silence carrying emotional pain, guilt and shame. The scripture teaches us “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety”. (Proverbs 11:14) “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...”. (Psalms 1:1) VISION Youth and Family Christian Counseling is here to provide a safe and non-judgement environment for Christians and Non-Christians struggling with depression, anxiety, anger issues, identity, and self-esteem. We want to help individuals speak their truth, release unhealthy and toxic secrets, and gain freedom from the burden and sins of their past. We are here to assist you in becoming free to enjoy the one life God has given you. “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”. (John 8:36)

Many Blessings, Dr. Doris
