Lactation Receptionist Job Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and organized person to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will work at the front desk of our practice and assist our patients and other visitors. Your primary job duties will include managing all incoming communications, greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, collecting patient co-pays, processing paperwork, dispensing breast pumps and durable medical equipment, and scheduling appointments. You will also help process returned equipment, keep our work areas clean and organized, as well as ensure our office provides a welcoming environment for our patients.

Lactation Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a certificate program in the medical field preferred
1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
Familiar with medical and lactation terminology
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Location: Breastfeed Atlanta (main office), in person - 5885 Glenridge Dr suite 200 Sandy Springs Ga 30328
Hours: daytime, weekdays
Pay: $15/hr, full or part time

Breastfeed Atlanta is looking for International Board Certified Lactation Consultants to join our growing practice. We provide compassionate and non-judgemental care to families in the perinatal period regardless of their parenting or feeding preferences. In this role, you’ll work directly with families in our main location providing clinical support, education and guidance. You’ll work closely with our team which includes nurse practitioners, physicians, and other allied healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care when patients’ needs exceed your scope as an IBCLC. The position can be full or part time, with flexible hours and scheduling once training is complete.
