Basics of Astrology (4 Part Series each class is 1 hour long)

April 1st, 2025 at 7pm
Intro to Astrology - Deciphering the natal chart, we will go beyond the sun. As we look at the entire picture of you in the sky, we will see ourselves, find purpose, and understand our connection to stardust.

April 8th, 2025 at 7pm
The Planets & You - Saturn is bossy. Jupiter is lucky. Venus is sexy! And, honestly, who knows what Uranus is up to. Enjoy time learning about the planets and how they affect you in your daily life.

April 15th, 2025 at 7pm
Exploring the Houses - Twelve pie slices ruled by twelve zodiac signs impacted by twelve more zodiac signs and planets. What does all this pie craziness mean? Take a walk through the twelve houses and find out.

April 22nd, 2025 at 7pm
Chiron & the Dragon - Come and understand how these mythological beings affect where you excel and why you struggle. Buckle up as we travel all over our charts looking at our strengths, weaknesses, and core wounding.

To get the most out of this class come with your Natal Chart in hand. You can do this by going to astro.com and going to the menu. Choose "free horoscopes", then choose "horoscope, drawings, and data", now pick "chart drawing ascendant" and enter in your info. This will give you access to your chart that you can print and bring to class

After teaching a Reiki Master class, I came away from the class with some very specific painting ideas that I want to be putting up on the walls of my home. Things that I want to paint and artwork that I want someone else to do. I stopped by a local thrift store. to rifle through the frames and artwork and see if there was anything that would fit the bill. I came across a rather simple painting of a feather, which for me when I see feathers it means I am in the right spot. The next painting that followed was this beautiful watercolor. $6 and you better believe it was going home with me!

The symbolism of this painting is deep. At surface level it is easily just seen as a Native American like image of the Mother Mary and the Holy Babe. However when you look deeper and deeper at the painting you uncover more and more symbolism. Tell me the meanings of what you see and know from the images in the painting. Help me uncover what the artist was trying to convey. And lastly, after a closer look at the posted pictures how does this painting make you feel?
