The Health Spot focuses on the causal factors of illnesses and diseases processes. This type of medicine is called functional medicine and is growing rapid support throughout the world. If the causes of disease are identified, they may be able to be stopped or slowed down thereby preventing long term prescription use. It does take a while to identify disease factors appropriately. We spend one to two hours for an initial consultation so that we can thoroughly evaluate a patient. We also have daily monitoring of the patients for the first few weeks so we can make sure our patients are improving and getting the help they need.
