Prosper Clinic

Prosper Clinic Prosper Clinic was founded in 2012 with the specific focus of the natural treatment of ADHD. Our method is fourfold

1.

Lifestyle counseling - There are certain adaptations that we must make in our lives to do simple things like showing up on time, remembering we needed to show up in the first place, find our keys, and most importantly now letting down those around us that we make promises to.

2. ADHD Specific Chiropractic Care - By removing interference in the nervous system it is able to function better.

3. Movement Therapy- Using Neurologically Integrated Movements(NIMS) we are able to strengthen the pathways in the brain and spinal cord to increase function.

4. Nutritional Counseling- We learn what foods to avoid and what foods we need and supplementation that improves the brain function.

Congratulations to Cutler who is one of our recent graduates from our program. He is a very intelligent individual and we wish him the best!

Here is what his mom has to say.

"Today is Cutler's last appointment of the SHINE program. We have had good success with this program. Cutler has not been the most willing participant at times. He has been really ornery on several occasions. I have been so impressed with how you have handled all the attitude Cutler has give. He really has improved in so many ways. His concentration is way up. And he is able to work for longer periods of time without stopping. My husband has enjoyed doing things with him that take more time, because Cutler can do them now. I wish we could have found this program years ago. It is so beneficial!

Thank you again for all your teaching and council."

GENERAL ANESTHESIA: two recent journal articles in the Br J Psychiatry and from INSERM and U. of Bordeaux, France; in vivo studies have shown that “inhaled anesthetic agents can promote amyloid B peptide (AB) peptide oligomerisation and enhance AB-induced neurotoxicity in the Br J Psychiatry. They found that patients older than 50 years who underwent surgery for the first time had nearly a double risk for a dementia, primarily Alzheimer’s, compared to nonanesthesized patients. Medical News Today reported on the U of Bordeaus article summarized their findings that elderly patients exposed to general anesthesia had a 35% higher risk. In the same article that the Mayo clinic reported that children exposed to anesthesia on multiple occasions also had a higher risk of ADHD. (Think ear tube surgery)
