Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Morning Light Coaching Receives 2023 Best of Sandy Award

Sandy Award Program Honors the Achievement
SANDY September 6, 2023 -- Morning Light Coaching has been selected for the 2023 Best of Sandy Award in the Life Coach category by the Sandy Award Program.

Each year, the Sandy Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Sandy area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2023 Sandy Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Sandy Award Program and data provided by third parties.

About Sandy Award Program
The Sandy Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Sandy area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.

The Sandy Award Program was established to recognize the best of local businesses in our community. Our organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups. Our mission is to recognize the small business community's contributions to the U.S. economy.

Great article on what keeps Retirees up at night. This is also keeping me up at night. We talk about this in my programs and make plans for the future that will give you peace.

Market volatility may keep retirees up at night, but the biggest risk to retirement security isn't what is happening on Wall Street. Instead, the chance of living longer than expected and depleting your assets is the bigger threat to retirement security.

People typically spend less time planning their retirement than they did on their last vacation. It is important to look at the non-financial side of retirement planning. You may have sufficient money to retire but no plans on how to spend your next 20 to 30 years.

Consider these questions to help you determine your retirement lifestyle and its potential costs.

I work with the best teachers and staff in the State. It amazes me that we were able to keep the doors open all this year. This is a tribute to our fantastic and dedicated staff. Thanks for all your do and for going the extra mile for the past 700 days of this COVID crisis.

I also want to express my thanks to the parents and guardians that have supported the District by allowing us to give several Virtual Friday Learning Days. This has really supported our teachers to feel valued and has allowed them time to continue providing quality educational supports. This has really been a team effort. It is an honor to be able to be part of this outstanding organization.

There has been a lot of talk about public schools, and public school teachers, lately. This always seems to happen during the state’s legislative session. While they’re not perfect, there is a lot to love about the public schools. I am a public school teacher and have been one for 20 years. That...

Something that I am also learning to do. I need to say NO more frequently to be able to say YES to that which is most important.

Saying no is one of the most difficult and powerful things you can say. No claims your boundaries. It’s honors self. It’s truly an act of self love.

Saying no draws the line of what is important to you and not succumbing to the pressure of someone making their needs a priority over your needs.

Loving yourself takes courage. It takes strength. It takes valuing self enough to protect your most important asset, your time!

The effects of COVID on the economy are everywhere. A new report shows a Higher rate of Unemployment for Older workers than Mid-Career workers in 50 years.

Unemployment Gap Flips: Unemployment rates for workers 55 and older exceeded those of mid-career workers for the length of the pandemic — the first time since 1973 such an unemployment gap has persisted for six months or longer. Slower Recovery For Older Workers: Older workers lost jobs faster and...

Let us be sure to not make this COVID isolation something that causes more rifts between us. Try to understand both sides of the story.

After months of enduring the ravages of Covid-19, many states are cautiously loosening prior restrictions and stay-at-home orders. Many regard this as essential development, to preserve the economy, and prevent the entire dissolution of businesses, communities, and lives. Others regard it as dangero...

Here is the 4th Blog post from my wife Carrie regarding how we can better care for ourselves and others during this COVID crisis. Please share it with those who you love that may benefit from a positive light.

In the face of Corona and its consequences, one of two things will happen to each of us. Either we'll get more isolated, depressed, anxious, and unproductive. Or - we'll use this time wisely to get stronger, happier, healthier, more creative, and more connected with ourselves and others. We can fight...

When life gets hard - when we feel like we're in over our heads, facing a problem beyond our individual capacity to solve - often those are the circumstances that can most powerfully awaken our innermost selves, our inborn spiritual awareness. The storms and adversities of life can prove to be some....
