Tarot 101 with Kathy and Karolyn

Tarot 101 classes are back! This is the first in a series of three introductory tarot classes.

This introductory course is designed for beginners and dabblers who want to be more confident and fluent with Tarot.

Students will learn the history and modern uses of Tarot, how to prepare for a read, the Minor and Major Arcana, associated Astrology, and tried and true Tarot spreads.

This is an interactive and hands-on course that will provide time for instruction and practice. Participants can expect to significantly advance their Tarot knowledge and skill level, interact with others that share a common interest, and have an opportunity to tap into and use their intuitive abilities.

Tarot 101 is a series of 3 classes.

Each class is $39 and may be paid at the door.

Required Materials: Each Student will be required to bring a version of the Rider Waite Tarot. Size and color variation of the Rider Waite Tarot are acceptable for this course, but the deck needs to display the traditional characters and symbols.

And, this time, students are able to select one of two offerings: three consecutive Sundays from 4:00 until 6:00, or Mondays from 6:00 until 8:00, beginning October 26th, at Synchronicities.

About this Program

Based on the 7 Doorways of Vinyasa Yoga by Jonny Kest and directly from the Ashtanga Yoga lineage, we are beyond honored to partner with Jonah Kest to present Become A Yogi®: A 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Within this experience you will be offered the tools to deepen your own personal yoga and meditation practice and to create a communal experience that is both provocative and enriching. This course is open to anyone who has ever been curious about personal and professional growth through their yoga practice, and is certified by Yoga Alliance. New and experienced students ages 18+ are welcome!

Program Highlights

Learn the 7 Doorways of Vinyasa Yoga as designed by Jonny Kest.

Graduate having the capability to lead a minimum of five types of yoga practices (Ashtanga Vinyasa, Ashtanga Remix, Yoga Flow, Deep Flow, and Yin).

Functional anatomy training, including modules on joints, muscles, and connective tissues, nervous system, cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and prenatal and postnatal yoga. This will not be an information dump - you will also participate in mobility sessions related to what you will learn, as well as how to integrate what you have learned directly into sequences for your yoga class or personal practice.

How to not only sequence a yoga class, but how to use theming and energetic connections to create an experience your students will not forget.
