Well it's official 😔 Uplifting Products is closing for good. Unfortunately covid and now a recession has forced me to give it up to make room for our growing family.
Im offering big discounts on stock I have left including: eyeshadows, lipstick, lip balm, scrubs, tinctures and lotions.
Also have some raw ingredients, dried herbs and packaging to resell if interested.
Reach out if you need anything as I slowly dissolve whats left.

Originally our sunscreen formula contained beeswax 🐝 but in 2018 I decided we needed a vegan formula for the bee lovers out there! I personally love both but tend to use the vegan formula because I try to make vegan lifestyle choices.

Strawberry Milkshake Palette 🍓

Missing this so much 🥲
Just an update on the UP 2021 market season!
UP will not be participating in any artisan or farmers markets this season. 😲 Im not going to complain, however a one woman show has a miniscule chance of keeping up with loans, stimulus and constantly changing regulations, physical and economic impact on how to run your small business during a pandemic (compared to a corporation with a marketing and financial team). I will be laying low, selling only online and through DM and unfortunately getting a 9 to 5 so I can keep paying my bills (is food really that important?😅). Small businesses are failing and unfortunately, while Amazon is breaking records. 😥 We all make choice every day to continue a way of life, what are you building with your daily habits?
If you need makeup, buy from a handmade company, not some corporation with a bottom line: profit 😉 my bottom line is always is my customer happy and am I happy while the planet is loved and taken care of. Balance comes in many ways and the balance of now is greater intention in consumerism culture 🙏✨
💣Could we push large industry drivers like CoverGirl and Maybelline to 'go green'? Yes, but would require so much time and energy this would be a large burden on the planet, not a solution.
💣Is there already a path of least resistance that doesn't involve overhauling an entire industry? Yes, small and local is the answer!
💣Do I have access to these solutions? Yes if you are privileged to have access to a phone and social media, Etsy, Facebook, TikTok and IG are wonderful resources to meet a real person that makes or services your needs

Uplifting Products started as Dakota Carter’s personal goal to make her own health and beauty products, after learning the harsh and cancerous truth about commercially available
products. At age 18 Dakota had dozens of allergies to the environment, food and personal care products, going so far as to start dramatic allergy injection treatment.
She took back her power after not feeling results she was looking for and exhausting the family pocket book to commute to these spend injections, be switching to a natural mostly plant based diet and chemical free lifestyle. From household cleansers to where she sourced her food, everything changed for her personal health.
By using simple raw oils and waxes to take care of her body, she learned how organic and from nature are the best, easiest, most healing and often cheapest options. A DIYer most recipes came naturally and manifest in 2014. When Dakota felt the desire to wear makeup again after being natural for many years, the cosmetic line manifest in 2015.
