Most people know what they want, but don't know how to achieve it. Lets work together to develop healthy coping skills, build on personal strengths, overcome obstacles, and understand what drives you to find peace and happiness. Seeking help is sometimes hard. You have taken the first by looking for assistance to improve your day to day life. I have experience working with men, women, children, and adolescents. Adoption is an extremely emotional and stressful experience. Support before, during, and after an adoption is available to birth parents and adoptive families. Whether you are a biological parent, an adoptee or adoptive parent you have experienced the loss that accompanies adoption. Thsre feelings occur and often need to be addressed. Experience with adoption allows me to address the issues that may not be understood by your current support system. Life is full of loss and change. Loss of jobs, relationships, trust along with death and divorce are just some of the over 43 major losses that have been identified. Every time you ignore the emotions that accompany these losses it changes you and how you interact with everyone around you. You have the right to actively recover from these experiences and have a more enriched life. Experiences that change your life may be hard to deal with alone. My experience can help with many options of self-care, education, therapy, and medications that may be of benefit to you. The methods used are based on research and effectiveness for grief/loss and recovery, life changes, adoption and depression. Then we will work together to overcome the barriers that are keeping you from achieving what you want to. I can meet with you via SKYPE, phone, or in person.
