Amazing things are happening!

We have been blessed to have people from France and Indonesia contact us seeking help for their family members who have Primary Lymphedema. In both cases Dr. Godoy and Dr. Fatima Godoy have reached out and are seeking solutions to help them.

IFOFL is playing an important role connecting people! As a non profit, we are so grateful to be able to bring awareness to the Godoys and their revolutionary treatment.

It is with heartfelt joy that we announce the grand opening of IFOL!
We are a nonprofit organization focused on bringing awareness to and treatment of lymphatic malformations (LMs)and other lymphatic-related issues.

This love story began in 2012 when Gretchen Givone saw photos of children afflicted with lymphatic malformations of the face. Filled with passion, hope, and determination, she began a journey to find an effective treatment. This led her to Brazil where she studied at the Clinica Godoy in Sao Jose do Rio Preto. The memory of that trip is forever etched in her heart. Meeting Dr. Fatima Guerreiro Godoy, Dr. Jose Maria Godoy, their selfless team of qualified therapists, and their patients completely changed her life. The education she received and the transformations she witnessed filled her with a mission that knows no bounds!

Today we are getting unprecedented results that have transformed the lives of our patients. Gretchen was recently asked to attend the monthly “Lymphatic Malformation Conference” at Primary Children's Hospital here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Representing IFOL at these conferences as an expert in her field, Gretchen has been able to provide solutions for these children where, until now, there were none.
