Our Commitment.
Neuroworx is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit charity that operates as a community-based, outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinic to provide specialized rehabilitative care for children and adults affected by paralysis due to spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, cerebral palsy and similar neurological conditions.
Physical therapist Jan Black PT, MSPT and Dale Hull MD co-founded Neuroworx in 2004 as a single 1,000 square foot room with only a few pieces of simple equipment. It expanded to 4,000 square feet in 2010 and then moved into a custom designed 24,500 square foot facility in August of 2015.
Neuroworx was conceived and operates on the principle that more progress is possible if individuals with these conditions are given access to specialized expertise and equipment and, most importantly, additional time. This commitment to extra time requires Neuroworx to pursue funding to carry out its mission of providing everyone the opportunity for the best possible outcome.
