While I was in the throes of my Kambo ceremony I felt like I might not be returning to baseline as quick as anticipated (within 30-45 minutes after administered). I even tried to end the podcast early telling listeners I would check in at a later date. Literally, when you watch the show you can see me laying on the ground, speaking softly and trying to conserve energy.

Then this happened… I was back, and felt even better than when we started. After taking a hot shower and being supported by I asked my producer to fire the cameras back up so I could show folks how quickly I recovered.

And a month or so later and I’m still feeling the Giddy up.

Kambo is a really unique and enlightening medicine for me. It clarifies and detoxes as well as shows you, as always, the only way is through and being uncomfortable leads to growth.

Ever wondered about Kambo? This ancient Amazonian ritual uses secretions from the giant leaf frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor) for a intense detox. Small burns on the skin allow the peptide-rich paste to enter, triggering purging like vomiting and sweating to clear toxins and negativity.

Sorry for the graphic clip - but I had to show y’all that the only way is through! What a unique experience to feel the heat rising in me for the 10-15 minutes before this purge session.

What I remember most from this moment, besides thinking, to***co is definetly purgative!!, was that Emily was being so supportive and helping me get through this challenging Giddy up. That’s the juice right there folks. Whether it is Kambo or sauna or hiking or dance, it’s about pushing through the uncomfortable to grow.

And that’s what happened for me. I grew through a challenging experience. I also felt great afterwards from a digestion standpoint and still feel amazing after a month.

Would you try it?!

There are people who talk about healing… and then there are people who’ve lived it.

Emily from is one of those people.

Before she was a Kambo practitioner, before the jungle training, before the lineage and the altars and the teachings, she was fighting drug addiction and she had Hep C. She had lost her spark. And nothing in the medical system was helping.

Then she sat with Kambo. It didn’t save her… It woke something up.

The clarity, the purge, the energy - it rebuilt her from the inside out.

Her labs changed. Her life changed. Her path changed.

And instead of running from the hard parts, she went straight into the heart of it — all the way to the Amazon.

Training. Apprenticing. Meeting the frogs. Learning the ethics, the lineage, the right way to hold this medicine.

That’s why people trust her.

That’s why I TRUST her

And that’s why I wanted to do this episode.

This conversation isn’t about hype or shortcuts.

It’s about tradition, science, belief and the responsibility we carry when we talk about healing.

If you’ve ever wanted a real, grounded understanding of Kambo…or you just want to hear the story of a woman who went through the fire and came out a healer…This one’s worth your time.

AND I didn’t even mention the best part... After the proper podcast, I recorded myself doing a Kambo ceremony for you all to see. I felt great afterwards and feel even better now.

Follow along for the journey!

Giddy up Episode out now.

There’s something different happening in Turner, Maine.

You can feel it the second you walk in. Spaces built with intention hit differently. You feel the warmth, the craft, the years of hands-on family effort layered into every beam and shelf.

is one of those places.

It’s not a store… It’s a vibe shift. It’s community, creativity, and wellness woven together by people who truly care.

has been telling me about it forever, and she was right - this is the kind of spot that reminds you why small, local, heart-led businesses matter.

If you ever find yourself in this part of Maine, step inside.
Get a latte.
Ask questions.
Take your time.
Feel the intentionality.

Proud to see full line sitting on those shelves too

This is how wellness spreads... one real conversation, one real space, one real connection at a time.

Giddy up.

Everybody loves the shiny moments.

The actual truth? It’s the hours nobody sees, the grit, the discipline, the unsexy reps, that actually build you.

I love when guests are honest about that part. Because behind every “highlight” is someone grinding through the stuff that never makes it online.

Natalie lives it. More of these conversations. More real.

What a gift…

To be able to walk from your wheelchair to your kitchen counter.
To feel intimacy without pain.
To get pregnant after years of trying

This is why real, hands on care matters. Why specialized care matters.

In a world obsessed with metrics and clicks, moments like this remind me what healing is all about.

REAL outcomes. REAL people. REAL life.

You know when someone just radiates purpose? That’s Natalie Tilton

She’s a Former Division 1 athlete, mom, and founder of Ability Allies Physical Therapy. Natalie has built something rare - a thriving, heart-led PT practice that still takes insurance and delivers true one-on-one care.

She started in her basement in 2020… and now runs four clinics across the Seacoast.

All built on grit, gratitude, and a refusal to settle for the broken healthcare model.

In this conversation, we talk about what it really takes to follow your purpose, why “success isn’t always pretty,” and how the best kind of medicine starts with human connection.

This one’s for anyone chasing alignment, not approval.
That’s a giddy up.
