Hello, my name is Hannah Thomas and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Art from Vanderbilt University and my Master of Social Work degree from Fayetteville State University, along with a Military Behavioral Health graduate certificate. I have experience working in mental health and foster care and have worked with diverse clients of all ages. I have trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brainspotting, and more.
My goal is to help individuals struggling with trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, adjustment, burnout, and life transitions. My approach includes elements of strengths-perspective, systems theory, and narrative therapy. I care about forming a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship, building upon strengths and successes, and honoring my clients' stories. I aim to provide clients with the support they need to achieve their goals and improve their lives. I believe that everyone is capable of changing their lives. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, compassionate, safe, and healing environment where clients feel able to bring up and work through any concerns.
