Are you retired or retiring and looking for a meaningful way to stay social and involved? 💙

Stevens Center is looking for a Volunteer Receptionist to join our team 15 to 20 hours per week.

You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes visitors, answers phones, and helps keep our center running smoothly. It’s a relaxed, supportive environment with a wonderful group of people.

If you enjoy connecting with others, staying active, and giving back in a meaningful way, we’d love to meet you.

Join us next Friday, January 9th for our first Friday event of the year. We’ll ring in 2026 and start the new year off right. We can’t wait to celebrate and dance the night away. As always, this is a free and inclusive family-friendly event that is open to the whole community. No pre-registration required!

This December has been one of our best yet. We are so very grateful to our local community for opening their hearts and their spaces to the people we hold near and dear to our hearts. As we begin to reflect on the past year, we are absolutely blown away by all of the opportunities that have come our way, and by the many doors that are opening for people with special needs right here in Lee County. Thank you to the Life Springs Dream and Restoration Center for hosting our group. We are so excited for all of the great things you will do. As our group finishes out the year by giving back and ringing bells for the Salvation Army, we are so inspired and can’t wait to share all of the great things we have planned for 2026. We wish all of you an amazing holiday season.

We had the absolute best time last night at Rock City’s “A Christmas to Remember” at Southern Lee High School. From the second our party van 🎉 arrived, the excitement was high and the night just kept getting better. Check out a few of these great moments from a night we will definitely remember for years to come ❤️. We can’t wait to do it again!

What a lovely start to the day ♥️💚
The sweetest kids and families joined us for our inclusive playgroup this morning and we had a jolly good time. Thanks to Santa and Mrs. Claus for making this morning so magical.

Next up, we are headed to Southern Lee for a Night to Remember organized by Rock City Church. Stay tuned for some great photos. Word has it the Stevens Center crew will be arriving in a decked out party van 🌲!

Today is the day! 🎄 Don’t forget to join us this morning for another great inclusive playgroup. It’s completely free and open to children of all abilities. Word has it, we will have a very special visitor around 10:30 am to take photos with all of the kiddos 🤫!

‼️TWO HOUR DELAY‼️
Due to the threat of black ice and the very low temperatures, the Day Program will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow Tuesday December 9,2025. This delay will allow for safer travel conditions and give any ice time to begin melting once the sun rises.
