Atlantic Hydraulics is seeking an experienced Office, Internal Sales, and shipping position. If you are passionate about details, have experience coordinating orders, vendor quotes and production shipments in a fast-paced, challenging work environment, and would like the opportunity to apply those skills at a place that will care about you, we’d like to hear from you.
*Major Responsibilities
-Input work orders into computer system
-Upload pictures into job folders
-Assist walk-in customers
-Unload trucks - material and customer units
-Check in delivered parts daily
-Purchase materials, goods and services from a wide variety of
vendors
-Track, open, and receive purchase orders
-Provide drawings and inspection paperwork to the Machining
personnel
-Update and maintain customer portals/order dashboards with
current data with a high degree of accuracy
-Handle customer inquiries (orders, quotes, customer service issues,
product/process questions)
-Maintain office supplies
-Answer and route incoming phone calls
-Process credit card and cash payments
-Other varies jobs as needed
-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Must be customer service oriented with a pleasant and upbeat
demeanor
-Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
applications
-Exceptional communication skills via email, telephone and in
person
-Ability to learn quickly with a high attention to detail
-Works professionally and effectively in a collaborative team
environment
-Works independently with high organization and time
management skills
-Demonstrated ability to learn and obtain a basic working
knowledge level of technical products or processes
-Must be able to up to lift 50lbs+
-Work in shop and office atmospheres
-Operate overhead crane and forklift
Credentials
English (Required)
High School graduate or equivalent (Preferred)
Two years of relevant experience (Preferred)
Computer knowledge as must (required)
