Strong showing from UCF at the Southeastern Psychological Association conference in New. Orleans. Out of over 200 students considered for best graduate student presentation, three of the eight finalist were from our program, Aubri Stuckey, Erin Smith, and Faith Alexander, with Aubri taking the prize! 🏆 Congratulations to all who presented. You all are winners! 🏅

So proud of our graduate, Desiree Andes, class of 2004!

The Mental Health Association of Central Florida is excited to announce Desiree Andes as its new Director of Youth and Family Services! 🥳

Desiree is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She is a well-respected and highly trained clinician with years of leadership experience and is looking forward to further enhancing the services of the Youth and Family program so that any and all children, adolescents and families that are in need are able to receive assistance. Desiree is an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) certified, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida as well as a Nationally Board Certified Counselor.

Prior to her current position, she held various leadership positions in a variety of mental health settings including the foster care system, psychiatric residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, private practice, and counseling programs for military personnel and their families.
