This is a lovely practice. Try it! 🤍 Who doesn’t love a little YouTube Yoga With Adriene? 💫

It is quite easy to be overstimulated these days, I am not going to sugar coat it. Overstimulation can happen when we experience too much noise, sensory overload, racing thoughts, intense emotions, or overwhelming environments. This is when our bodies tell us that our nervous system is in a heightened state. When things feel like too much, yoga teaches the body to come back to balance.

This practice is here for you when you need to be guided back to equilibrium. Together we will flow through slow, intentional movement to shift the nervous system back to a parasympathetic state, also known as “rest & digest.” Reconnect with your body, relieve tension, and find a safe place to land. I’m here for you.

Our schedule this week at 🧡

If you need a place to land after a few full days — somewhere to rest, revive, ground, and breathe — we are here for you.

Easter Sunday begins the week followed by five days of feel good movement and relaxation designed to harmonize the nervous system.

At our studio, we’re conscious of our surroundings — the season, the weather, our cultural currents, and the reality of day to day life.

You’re invited to join us for a class when it fits your schedule. All levels welcome. No mat or props needed. Dress comfortably.

Thursdays we stack classes:
Afternoon Yin at 4p
Ashtanga Vinyasa Level 2 at 530p

Both approaches to yoga to be equally challenging — Yin for the mind, Ashtanga for the body? — and relaxing — Yin for the body, Ashtanga for the mind?

Yin is a great class for those needing to de-stress and increase flexibility. No experience needed. A good option for beginners.

Ashtanga VL2 calms the nervous system with its breath focus and repetition, and works toward stronger muscles and greater flexibility with flowing sequences and intentional stretching. A great class for those with some Ashtanga experience, those who have taken a few intro classes, or those with a regular fitness routine and an open mind.

Reservations recommended. New students welcome.

Just one of many small ways that promises to honor each person’s journey and make our studio a safe, trauma-informed, body positive experience for all.

How special to have three generations in practice tonight. 🤍🤍🤍

Intro to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (Mondays at 530pm) is appropriate for all levels and all seasons of life. The way I lead this method meets you where you are, walks you toward edges and asks that you explore gently, and offers deep release and relaxation.

Big heart hugs and gratitude to daughter Maren, mama Megan, and grandma Diana for joining class this evening. It’s a true joy to be your yoga instructor 🫶🙏
