Since day one, my mission at Sweet Jayne's has been to give back to Gainesville and the nearby communities that support my business so well. Most of the time, that comes through monetary donations, gift baskets, raffle items, and unfortunately sometimes through fundraisers that we lead in the event of unfortunate circumstances. My customers have always stepped up and helped my business with fundraisers well when people are in need like this. I want to ask for your help.
This week, a young wife and mother to 4 very young children from nearby Forestburg (where I now live) lost her life in an auto accident. She's leaving behind a husband that will have 4 littles to care for while trying to provide financially for his kids. While I don't know Katie Moore personally, I am connected to many people that have known her their whole lives. Hearing stories of the kind soul that she was really has me feeling inclined to help her husband personally but I want to reach out to you all to join me if you are able.
I will have a donation jar out at the end of the counter starting today and am also going to attach my Venmo account in the comments for those of you that can't come in but would like to help this family with the unthinkable challenge of paying for a funeral and raising 4 kids alone. I will be able to present the money that we raise directly to the family.
Thank you all that can help and if you can't help financially, please say prayers for Malaci Moore and his sweet babies. β€οΈ
