When patients switch to these “Medicare Advantage” or “Medicare Replacement” plans from traditional Medicare Part B, they find they have very high copayments or no coverage at all for physical therapy at our clinic or other local clinics. Lower premiums are appealing, but check the out-of-network benefits for physical therapy before deciding.

Very pleased to report that both our clinic locations are dry after Hurricane Milton. Yay!
We plan to reopen our 695 Tarpon Bay Road location Monday, October 21st, pending restoration of all utilities. Thank you to our city leaders, utilities and community leaders for working so hard to get our islands functioning in record time after such a disaster. ❤️

SanCap Rotarians in the house - helping to clean up after Helene! DollyFarrell (CFI), Annie Campbell (Heights Foundation) and Rachel Tritaik, PT (Island Therapy Center) spent the day Saturday helping to clean up others’ homes. That’s the Sanibel way!

We will reopen Monday morning! Both locations are dry and parking lots are clear. Working on our homes and community this weekend. Tarpon Bay Road remains flooded from Hurricane Helene today. So many homes and businesses had significant flooding, please visit rotaryfl.org if you need help.

VeDA launched Balance Awareness Week in 1997 to bring attention to these often invisible balance disorders. Today, the vestibular community celebrates worldwide with multiple events all week long.
