Velocity is conducting no-cost FibroScans at our Santa Ana research clinic. If you have certain medical conditions — including type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, high blood pressure, or obesity — you may also have fatty liver disease. A liver health ultrasound (elastography or FibroScan®) can be used to detect a variety of liver issues, such as fibrosis (scarring) and steatosis (fat increases). As part of a clinical trial, you may be able to get a liver ultrasound at no cost and receive compensation for study-related time.
