hello everyone, many of you may have heard already through my brother that he has been discharged today. He is in good health but still needs time for a full recovery. He will continue his physical therapy and is continuously grateful for everyones support. Currently he will be staying some time with our parents and we will be available for anything he needs. Again we can't thank you all for you're continuous prayers and good wishes in David's full recovery. I know David will send his regards to everyone for everything that has been done during his time of need. I will soon close his go-fund-me page and again thank you all for you're generous donations and continued support. Much Love David and his Family. 🙏🙏

Hello everyone and Good Morning, Today our Mom will be breaking the news to David and we would like for everyone to Please wish David a speedy recovery so he knows that all his friends and family are with him for whatever he needs during this time. He will have his cell phone starting today. We would love to remain at Davids side during these trying times but unfortunately the hospital will not allow more than one person just to even break the news. And even more so, during Davids rehabilitation we will only be able to visit him once per week and also two people at a time. It is unbearable the weight that David will have to carry while in the hospital and during Rehab. Please be mindful in sending him a message because he is still unable to speak. We know David has the biggest support ready for whatever he needs. Thank You and Much Love, From David and his Family.

Hello friends and family, just keeping up with you guys on Davids health. Id like to start off by letting you guys know that David is fully aware of his accident and has just begun asking about Patty. with that being said, our family will give him the news as soon as the hospital allows us to see him in person so we can be with him for the day. I hope we can see him first thing this coming week. Also David will be transferred to a rehab center very soon so he can begin intensive Physical (PT), Speech (ST) and Occupational Therapy (OT). he will be an inpatient at this rehab center for a minimum of 2 weeks until he is up and walking again. After we have delivered the news about Patty, I would like to ask everyone for another huge and possibly the biggest favor. If I could have everyone send words of encouragement to his cell phone and write positivity on his facebook and instagram timelines. it will be just a matter of days before I hand back David his cell phone and he begins to intake his current situation. But until than please continue keeping David in you're thoughts and prayers because he will be on his own for most of this process because this rehab center only allows visitation once a week and in pairs. Again please and thank you for continuing in keeping David in you're thoughts and prayers. Much LOVE David's Family.

Hey guys I have some good news to share with you guys, firstly I am happy to continue sharing with you guys that David is well and healthy and have heard no complaints from him considering he can't speak. I have asked him questions regarding his health and he responds with a thumbs up. I am also happy to say that he is aware and recognizes each of us when we FaceTime him. However I am not sure if he is aware of his accident and what followed. We are being mindful and walking on eggshells for the moment but we are fully aware that he might ask sooner or later. The other good news id like to share is that David has been transferred out of the ICU (intensive care unit)and into a new floor where he is currently being given basic physical therapy. At a later date he will be transferred to a rehab center where he will start Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy. Thank You so much everyone for keeping David in you're thoughts and prayers. We couldn't of asked for more from you guys. Thank you and Much LOVE, David and his Family.🙏🙏 I will continue to post updates and will try to get a video or picture next time because when we FaceTime him we get too involved in the moment and forget to snap and record a pic or video. Thank you so much again everyone.

Hey guys after a FaceTime call with David earlier tonight we again were able to speak to him while he was awake. Tonight David was definitely responsive as he was constantly listening to us and engaged with us with a thumps up and waving hello. He was also pleased with some music we played for him as he bobbed his head to the rhythm of the music. These were all wonderful signs for us that clearly show David will be on his way to recovery with a little more time. Still unable to speak tho, I know he would like to thank each and everyone of you for keeping him in you're thoughts and prayers. Much Love David and his Family.

hey guys if you would like to send any gifts to David you can do so at his current hospital which is Orange County Global Medical Center, 1001N Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, Ca. you can leave them in the lobby with the security so I was told. or you can message me, txt me, or email me and when I get a chance I can drop by and pick these up. However the hospital does not allow flowers. Yesterday evening David woke up for a while but we were unsure if he was aware of his surroundings and my voice. Please continue keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. Much Love Davids Family.

Hello Family, Friends, and acquaintances, this Page will be dedicated on behalf of David Reyes. We will post any and all updates regarding my brothers well being and recovery. First off we would like to thank each and every one of you for taking your time to ask and concern yourselves about my brother.Currently David received a tracheotomy which enables him to breathe on his own at times and with the help of a ventilator at others. We have been told that his head injuries are stable and are beginning to wean him off his sedation levels. With less medicatio, David has woken up but is constantly anxious and restless. Altho I am unsure if he is conscious of where he is at or if he understands our families voices, we are told he can hear us. David opens his eyes briefly but again we are unsure if he sees us. We are told by the Doctors that David needs time to recover and it is up to him and with the help of the right medication to speed up his recovery. With that said we would GREATLY APPRECIATE if everyone could still keep David in you're daily prayers and thoughts and also send good vibes in his direction. Much Love David and his Family. 🙏
