Last Friday our Executive Director Dr. Roberta Cone, and our Grants & Outreach Administrator had a terrific meeting with the good folks at DVAP Riverside. DVAP helps victims and families of victims by providing them physical protection in their own homes. They partner with various security contractors that provide professional physical security at no cost to victims of violence, abuse, and stalking. Exciting things to come!

This workshop offers a safe and supportive space to reflect on loss, celebrate the lives of loved ones, and explore grief through the lens of culture and healing. Led by MFT trainees, this workshop weaves together expressive arts, storytelling, and psychoeducation to deepen understanding of the grief process and reconnect with the rich traditions of Día de los Mu***os as a source of community, remembrance, and renewal. Thanks to Fullerton Joint Union High School for hosting us at lunch!

Did you know that STC currently provides counseling services in 7 title I schools? Students at our sites are able to meet with our counselors right there at their school, learning valuable techniques to regulate their emotions, speak about what's troubling them and foster resiliency!

Fullerton's site counselor, Stephanie Echanique was on hand this afternoon to provide resources and a sweet treat!

We are deeply saddened to hear about Richard Kaufman's passing.

Richard was the chair of STC's Finance Committee and had been a member of our board since 2022.

He was a steady presence and a true believer in STC's mission. His quiet strength and commitment to our community work left a lasting impression, and his absence will be felt by all of us.

He is remembered in these slides by our executive director, Dr Roberta Cone.

Please keep Richard's family and friends in your hearts.
