Pacific Islander Health Partnership, founded in 2003, is a 501(c) (3) exempt organization serving the Pacific Islander communities to reduce health disparities and promotes living in good health and well being. Pacific Islander Health Partnership’s mission is to serve indigenous Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders to educate, advocate, train leaders and build community capacity for health for islanders to reduce health disparities in cancer, diabetes, heart disease, obesity and other chronic illnesses with special programs for island seniors and youth.
*We also provide services to those outside of the Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander communities.

Still feeling the aloha from this weekend 🌺 Huge shoutout to .iaovalley for traveling all the way from Hawai‘i to lead an unforgettable poi pounding workshop. Our community loved learning how to make pa’i’ai and poi while connecting to the stories and traditions that have sustained Kanaka Maoli for centuries.

This past weekend we spent some time with cultural practioners U'i Kahue and Mario Siatris all the way from Maui and they facilitated a workshop on how to weave Pacific Island handicrafts from coconut leaves. The workshop continued onto Ho'olaulea weekend at Alondra Park in Lawndale.

Mahalo nui loa to Maui Grown 808, LLP for always showing up and giving 100% of your energy and time to the community wherever you are. We appreciate you both so much.
