Pacific Islander Health Partnership’s mission is to serve indigenous Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders to educate, advocate, train leaders and build community capacity for health for islander

This past weekend we spent some time with cultural practioners U'i Kahue and Mario Siatris all the way from Maui and they facilitated a workshop on how to weave Pacific Island handicrafts from coconut leaves. The workshop continued onto Ho'olaulea weekend at Alondra Park in Lawndale.

This week, PIHP joined six other nonprofits for , and together we raised an incredible $104,130 to support Orange County’s older adults. Because of your generosity, $21,450 of that total went directly to PIHP!

Your support funds cultural workshops and legacy-building spaces for our elders—like traditional weaving, sewing stockings for families, and gatherings where stories and values are passed on.
