Our mission at FACES - Family Assessment Counseling & Education Services - is to provide assessment and clinical support to families caught in the crossfire of divorce and education to prevent family violence.

FACES Story

Children feel powerless when parents fight. They don’t want to pick sides. They want to protect the person that is being vicitimized. They hurt when their parents hurt. And they worry about what will happen if or when the family splits up.

Family Assessment, Counseling & Education Services better known as F.A.C.E.S. is a non profit counseling agency for children and parents in single parent families, and provides counseling for the whole community. We were founded in 1998 by three women, child advocates, who divided up the work and built a place for safety and healing

Parents donate their genes to their child. Their child is both parents and loves both parents. When parents fight or separate, they want to continue to love their child, and spend time parenting their child. FACES helps heal the wounds caused during the relationship and forge new co-parenting relationships, for the sake of the child. If you are ordered to FACES, take advantage of this service and put into the work. It will be worth it!

The low cost services are available because of the volunteerism and excellent training of therapists. We respect every client who enters our doors.
