Dr. Jose Cholula Bruno, MA, EdD was born in a small town of Puebla, Mexico. He migrated to the United States at age 11, settling in Santa Ana, California. Dr. Cholula attended Concordia University Irvine, California on a full-ride scholarship received for running, continuing his running career to obtain All-American titles. In 2006, Dr. Cholula obtained degrees in Psychology, Sociology and Exercis
e Sports Science. Two years later, he graduated from Adams State University with a master's degree in Community Counseling. In 2011, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Concordia University Irvine. In 2013, Dr. Cholula successfully obtained an Education Doctorate in Psychology (Ed.D) from Argosy University. His research focused on parental involvement among Spanish-speaking parents from the rural San Luis Valley, Colorado, where he worked as an outpatient counselor and adjunct professor. At this time, Dr. Cholula is a licensed professional counselor from the state of Colorado and a licensed psychologist in California.
