More sage advice. We are bombarded with ads and commercials and information and misinformation; consider this an ad for not buying anything, for breathing, for stretching, for stepping away and connecting with nature, for connecting with yourself and those you love and with real life and what's important. Hope you all are well & I hope you take a little screen break --Lisa/Peadoodles

This is just one example of how much worse our “food” is getting. It’s hardly food, really.

The office phone number now rings to a dedicated cell phone. Patients can also text the number. What a relief!

Regarding my phone trouble: a technician is coming to the office tomorrow. I did reach the right kind of tech today to get that handled-after he spent a good hour trying everything he could think of remotely. But, I am still not reachable by landline for now.

Phone trouble. I can call out, but it won’t ring. Incoming calls go to voicemail but I can’t access voicemail. I also can’t access Frontier!! Two calls already, totaling an hour on hold using my cell phone. I’ve about had it.

I have reached 100 followers! Thank you for your continued support. I could not have done it without each of you. 🙏🤗🎉

Consumer Reports published a report on plastic chemicals found in our food. They tested 18 different fast food items and found alarmingly high amounts of Phthalates in almost every product tested.

Phthalates are the most common plasticizers (a chemical that makes plastic flexible and durable), and because they are used so much in food processing and packaging, these chemicals are showing up in our bodies, where they can harm our health over time.

Experts say even low levels are harmful to the body, especially since we’re being exposed multiple times a day!

Phthalates are linked to:
⚠️Reduced testosterone and estrogen levels
⚠️Decreased fertility and higher miscarriage rates
⚠️Increased risk of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes
⚠️Elevated blood pressure and triglyceride levels
⚠️Obesity

What to do?

Eat fresh unpackaged food as much as possible, stop using plastic food containers and bags, and eat at home whenever you can. I like to use stainless steel and glass containers in my kitchen.

Arrived in blustery Oakland for a chiropractic technique seminar with my friend Dr. Pam Lovell. Between this and my recent seminar Parker Las Vegas, I am chipping away at my credit hours for the year!

Until Richard Nixon, it was illegal for Insurance companies to profit from illness and health care treatments. This act broke the system, allowing for HMOs (Health Maintenance Organizations) and PPOs (Participating Provider Organizations), allowing vast increases in Income for Insurance companies and a subsequent decrease in quality of care by limiting face to face time between physicians and patients.
