Join us Saturday, April 18th for a Faherty x KAIBAE Open House at our Montecito store from 12:00–4:00 PM. At 2:00 PM, Dr. Luc Maes and Thomas Cole will lead the conversation “Ancient Baobab, Modern Wellness: Gut and Planetary Health for a Liveable Future” exploring how the ancient African Baobab tree and its superfruit support overall health—while contributing to a more biodiverse, regenerative world.

In celebration of Earth Day and local collaboration, we’ll feature the KAIBAE wellness line in-store and screen the short documentary LOST CROPS by local filmmaker Christopher Jenkins, which highlights KAIBAE’s journey and vision.

Enjoy baobab-inspired dishes from favorite Montecito and Santa Barbara chefs and and some of our brand partners and —there will be fresh juices, jams, pastries, and confections—plus our signature baobab margarita showcasing the fruit’s bright, citrus-like flavor.

What’s your favorite way to make overnight oats?
Ingredients
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 tsp simpli chia seeds
1 tbsp baobab powder
1 cup milk of choice
2 tbsp peanut butter
4 fresh strawberries
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a mason jar. Stir or shake to mix and refrigerate overnight. Serve in the morning with toppings like more strawberries, bananas, and/or a drizzle of honey. Enjoy!

I just can’t help myself. As a founder, I love to check on my Baobab on the retail shelf. I have been known to fluff the pouches, straighten them, do demos and chat with the staff.
