Thankful
The way my toddler says potstickers.
Did scary things. Didn’t die. Encouraging.
My backyard garden that feeds us.
The cold side of the pillow.
We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary.
I’m grateful for being fired.

The joy of a wedding dance.
New beginnings and a playful Chihuahua.
The crow that brings me rubbish.
A July day at Wrigley Field.
My little orange cat, Cinnamon.
America’s compassion finding its voice.

Only momentarily a widow. Defibrillators rock!
Sun on snow, white diamonds glistening.
First house, fresh paint. Goodbye, gray!
Family, sobriety, heavy metal, Cheddar cheese.
Sun rising. Moon setting. Another day.
It won’t always be like this.

A man I melt into nightly.

Some morning inspiration from Jon Yuen related to your wellness

Here are just a couple of things that take no more than ten minutes, that all positively impact your health and fitness:

do 2-3 sets of an exercise
do 2-3 sets of two exercises (supersets)
learn a new dance move
practice a new skill, like juggling, whistling, or how to do a cartwheel
my personal favorite -- The Three-Body Solution:
hang from something for ~1 minute
sit in a squat for ~1 minute
crawl or stay on all fours for ~1 minute
train your grip and forearm by sticking your hand into a bucket of rice and moving it around
move each of your joints (5-10 circles should do)
stretch your ankles
balance on one foot
eat a fruit
find a new, healthy recipe to try out
consider if you have any goals that don't serve you anymore
sit down, do nothing, and be okay with it
write 5 good sentences on how you feel
delete the apps you don't use
unfollow 10 profiles (or more) on social media that don't contribute to your life in a positive way
unsubscribe from the newsletters you don't read
stare at the sky
pet a cat/dog
