This message is about cancer! It's a horrid disease that has taken my family by storm! Luckily, I caught mine in time. My sister passed from hers. ( 5 kids in my family and 3 got it - so far) My mom fight a good and long and hard battle and made it! My brother currently is suffering. from Stage 4 prostate cancer that spread to his bones - tumors in his spine and ribs! We're trying our best to help keep his spirits up. A student centered yoga teacher would not come from the perspective of the inability of "pleasing" everyone. My understanding as a yoga teacher is that this is not about "pleasing". It is about teaching the students in front of you. Show and teach multiple variations, welcome all, be kind, meet students where they are.
