Inspired by a life-changing trip to Vermont and the decline of community gathering spaces, Pamela McCaskey dreamed of creating a wellness haven in Santa Barbara. Alongside her geologist husband, Mike, she brought this vision to life, importing over 60 tons of Himalayan salt from Pakistan to build the largest salt cave in North America. Since 2012, Salt Cave SB has become a local treasure. Beyond meditative cave sessions, we offer wellness services, specialized classes, and luxurious spa treatments. With its exclusive line of body products and spa accessories, you can even take the calming essence of the caves home with you.
