Her experience working closely with people’s eating habits and food issues has taught her that the key to helping a person change the way he/she eats is not to impose discipline over his/her fork, but to assist the person at building the necessary skills to become a healthful eater, and to guide the person in mastering control of his/her own mind. Chantal has empowered thousands of clients in taking charge of their own health through nutrition education & interventions, behavior modifications, and mindful eating practices. Her clients and colleagues know her as a gifted educator and inspiring counselor, who addresses the real food issues, and makes a genuine difference in people’s lives.

Happy 14th birthday Skillful Eating! 14 years ago, judiciously, on Valentine's Day, I left the corporate world to start my own biz. That way, I would always have a reason to celebrate on 2/14. Happy Birthday SE! You make me work my butt off, push my limits, keep me still too far from retirement. Yet we grow together each year, and foremost, we genuinely help hundreds of people, young and old. Watch out 2022, we are expanding to Canada!! 😉🍀🔥⚡️🌈

A new and excellent resource to learn how to cut down animal products from your diet, for your health and for the planet's sake! Happy Earth Day weekend!

You don’t have to be a vegan, but you should know how to think like one. Our planet has a lot on its plate. And as we're learning, everything we eat has an impact on our environment. This Earth Day, we are giving you a little bundle of plant-based recipes that default vegan but are flexible enough to vary with small amounts of animal protein. If you already avoid meat, cool; you're all set. For those of you who want to eat more legumes, whole grains, and vegetables, these dishes demonstrate some strategies. Former First Lady Michelle Obama announced today that she is launching a new children’s show next month called Waffles + Mochi "all about good food: discovering it, cooking it, and of course, eating it." In her announcement, she wrote that "in many ways, this show is an extension of my work to support children’s health as First Lady — and to be quite honest, I wish a program like this had been around when my girls were young. I also know that this is a difficult time for so many families, and I’m hopeful that this delightful show can bring a bit of light and laughter to homes around the world."

The show will also star two puppet friends named Waffles and Mochi who, she says, "will take us on adventures all around the world to explore new ingredients and try out new recipes. Kids will love it, but I know that adults will also get plenty of laughs — and some tips for the kitchen." The show, which is premiering on Netflix on March 16, is also partnering with the Partnership for a Healthier America "to get fresh ingredients to families in need across the country so they can cook together at home."
